Multi Mutual Charity Association KL & Sel. PDF Print

The Multi Mutual Charity Association (MMCA) is a charity organization offering aid to poor families without discrimination in terms of race and religion, and without any political influence. The main targets of the Multi Mutual Charity Association are single mothers and the unfortunate who have been forgotten by society. Multi Mutual Charity Association was founded in 1998 and registered as a charitable organization in 2004. As of year 2008, it currently supports some 500 families with single parents who live in extremely poor conditions and who had not received aid from the Ministry of Welfare. There are some 60 social workers serving in Multi Mutual Charity Association who contribute towards the livelihood of the unfortunate and who work diligently to obtain donations every month. These donations are used to provide food for single mothers every month and the items include rice, cooking oil, dried food and milk powder for children.

These social workers also visit the families concerned every month and they provide free tuition for children from these families. Recently, we have also successfully helped 200 single mothers to establish their own families and found jobs for these poor single parent families as well as allowing their children grow up healthily.

Our current target is the hope of continuing to provide aid for 3000 poor families in the next 10 years and as such, apart from increasing the participation of social workers, we also require support and contribution from everyone. We sincerely express our graduate for the contribution and support given by you.

For the sake of the education of children in single parent families, our chairman - Mr. Delon Fong, has been interviewed by NTV7 under its "Finding Angel" programme. Through this programme, we hope to urge more capable volunteers to join in as social workers to provide free tuition classes for these unfortunate children.
